and so before it really get's too late,
a very Happy New Year to all.

gosh. its already 2007 and i'll be like 19 this year and going to year 3 of poly already. geez. 2006 sure went by soo quickly and its already pass in a blink of a eye. but it was a rather good year for me except for some of the setbacks. and it sure is the year where i did the most shopping all my life. lol. other then the heartbreaks and the shitty stuffs, the rest of 2006 was fine and i had a lot of "first times", which is great. and of course, i got a new job, started driving classes, made new friends, changed my hairstyle like i think 3 times and of course, made my mum my new bestfriend. she's just the best.

so this year's new year eve was pretty much boring. the fireworks weren't that great at all. and of course, me and nurul didn't get a chance to spend it with our loved ones like last year. anyways, it still was great and had a blast-tastic girlfriends time. met up with her at yishun mrt at 10.30pm and headed straight to City Hall. den met up with pid and man before we walked to the padang. was supposed to meet fitri and sandy who were around there too but given the crowd, i decided not too coz it would be erm, impossible. durh. so we found a spot and settled down.

then junie called so we went away for a while and met up with junie and jannah for a while before goin to 7-11 to buy drinks and then went back to our spot coz it was already 11.55pm and we didn't want to miss the fireworks. so there the fireworks went "boom" the moment it striked 12am! 2007 here we come.. lol. so after the fireworks everyone scrambled off like ants. but we remained sitted and only left like after 15 mins later. typical kiassu singaporeans.

we walked over to esplanade which was just as bad. separated from the guyz and me and nurul got hungry so we went over to the macdonalds at marina square. and it was like soo damn bloody packed with humans! so we finally got our food anyway and then walked over to riverside where we hanged out with eddie and the gang. met azura for the first time and she's cool. so the night went by and mum actually picked me and nurul up after that. gosh i was soo tired i fell aslp the moment i lie on my bed. and how sad that the day after dat, 1st jan, i was actually working.

anyway, before all this new year thing, somehow hari raya haji fell on new year's eve. so yep it was hari raya haji and as usual, woke up early, got dressed and went over to the granny's. and adrieanna was in cute little tudung. gosh. she look so adorable. so was there till 2 plus before goin to another relative's place, which somehow happens to be nx to nurul's flat. so yeah, went ovet to her place and was forced by the mum to eat the lontong and all. it was cool coz i met her sis for the first time and first time we "celebrate" raya together. haha.

so then went back to my relative's place till ard 4 before heading back to granny's place. gosh it was boring that i ended up falling aslp there. plus, to make it worst, Suria didn't have much on air that i was interested in watching. well hari raya haji nowadays don't have much impact on me anymore since both my parents have gone for their pilgrimage when i was younger. so now its like just goin over to granny's for a normal family gathering on every hari raya haji.

ok so that was my new year eve and hari raya haji. so the day before all this, on sat, went over to the fullerton since mum and dad were staying there. mum gave dad the stay over there as a surprise for their 20th anniversary. how sweet. and on top of that, there was a candle-light dinner in the room itself, where Fullerton surprise them with a cake and a bouquet of roses for my mum. geez. how cool is that. so anyway, went over there, enjoyed the room, the toilet(which btw, had a nice bubble bath with rose petals all over), and of course the awesome view.

ah huh so after we checked out at 3pm, we headed to raffles city and had ice-cream for tea time at Haagen-Daaz. check out what i had. yum yum. my favourite, esp the brownie! urgh. typing this just makes me crave for it again. hahz. after that, walked around and did a lil shopping before we headed off for dinner. if you wanna check out the pics for this day, click here:

friday(29 dec)
ok so the last update would be my friday. well was supposed to go for project meeting but something came up at home. geez.. it was really sucky. and guess what, i lost my ez-link card again! yes AGAIN! arghhh. like fuck. seriously its super fucked up. gosh. its like the 2nd or 3rd time already in a year. and that cost me 21 bucks! when i'm broke that's like lots of money!!!

anyway, went to meet pid and was supposed to watch, The Holiday but in the end, we didn't coz everywhere we went was full!!! argh. why must everyone watch it when i wanna watch it. haha. ok that was just the whiny me. so we ended up having dinner at subway and walked around town coz he wanted to shop and den we got so bored coz one by one the shops started closing. so we walked all the way from town to city hall. and geez. that walk was one special walk. it turned from something to something. and omg! you freaked me out dude. you know i know.

when we got there, met up with his bro, who happened to just finished work and then we went home ard 11 coz lil bro kept calling me and asking me to go home. he was scared coz he was all alone at home. well not really all alone but alone coz sis and maid was already asleep and mum and dad was over at fullerton remember? (read above) so mum allowed pid to come over to play ps2 with lil bro.

so there they were playing game til 2.30am and then both got hungry so pid cooked for lil bro maggi coz i was already half aslp. haha. so yeah after that, they watched WWE together in the living room while there i was lying on the carpet, half dead. so lil bro finally got tired and felt asleep. so there pid was over at my place till 6.30am before walking home. yes he lives quite near me btw.

ok so that's just a lil update from me on how the few days before 2007 was spent. gosh. its already 2007. argh. so yeah, till den. lots of love.
